Welcome to the official event information page for the

THREE PIECE SUIT FOOTBALL CHARITY FESTIVAL

featuring the TPSF Boston 2022 Football Game!

One of the first questions we usually get is “What the heck is Three Piece Suit Football?”  You’ll find the answer to this – plus all the event details – in the FAQ below. But as you scroll your way down the page, be sure to familiarize yourself with why we call this a Charity Festival.

Now in our 9th year, this unique event — featuring sharp-dressed men & women playing full-contact tackle football — has grown from a scrappy game at Hunnewell Park with ten spectators into the centerpiece of a festival, serving as a fundraiser for veteran and animal charities.

For the seventh year in a row, the event will support Operation Delta Dog (OpDD), a charity organization which rescues and trains sheltered dogs to pair them with local military veterans suffering from PTSD or TBIs. Since 2014, TPSF events in Boston have raised over $70,000 to support military veterans and rescue dog charities.

Here’s how we’ll raise monetary support for local Veteran and Animal Charities:

  1. VIP Sponsorship Tents – TPSF will raise money through VIP Sponsorship Tent sales ($1,000/tent). There are only 10 slots available! The purchase of a VIP Sponsorship ticket will include: Private VIP Sponsor Tent (up to 10 people) with an optional logo and tent access (up to 10 people), TPSF Charity Festival food/drink tickets for beer/wine/food, complementary TPSF merchandise and exclusive access to portable toilets. All direct proceeds from VIP Pass sales go to OpDD!.
  2. Direct Donations – Operation Delta Dog will be in attendance at the TPSF Boston Festival, so be sure to stop by their table and say hello! While you’re learning about their mission, you can purchase OpDD swag, or simply make a donation to their organization.
  3. “10 For a G!” Raffle – One lucky person will end the day as a $1000 prize winner. $10 gets you one entry in the drawing which will take place at the end of the football game, and you do not have to be present to win! Apart from the first 100 entry fees which generate the prize pot, every dollar goes directly to our charities! So buy your raffle tickets right HERE, right now.

Frequently Asked Questions / Event Details

Q.1 – What the heck is Three Piece Suit Football?

Three Piece Suit Football (TPSF) is an annual charity football game played in both Atlanta and Boston. This exciting game features men & women playing a hard-hitting game of full-contact tackle football while wearing three-piece suits! TPSF originated in Atlanta in 2009 and started a Boston Chapter in 2014 (click here for full TPSF history).

Our annual Boston event has grown from a small game, played in Piedmont Park in the fall (October), into the Festival that it is today – with live music, local craft beer sponsors and food! For the 7th year the event will be held at the Rogers Park in Newton.

Of course, the centerpiece of the fun-for-all-ages event remains the legendary picture-worthy game of tackle football. The clash of unique and colorful suits as the players battle on the gridiron is a spectacle that will captivate all ages and have you reminiscing about the event long after it has ended.

Support for Veteran and Animal Charities will be raised during the event through VIP Ticket sales, direct donations, general alcoholic drink sales, and the “10 For a G!” raffle for your chance to win $1000!

Q.2 – When and Where is this event happening?

  • WHEN: October. 15, 2022  •  2–6pm
  • 2pm – Football Game Kickoff
  • WHERE: Rogers Park, in Brighton.
  • Drop-off location for Uber/Lyft riders: 30 Rogers Park Ave
  • Please note: There is LIMITED PERMITTED ON-STREET PARKING available at the event site (Uber/Lyft recommended).

Q.3 – Are Tickets required for entry to the event?

No! This is a FREE ADMISSION EVENT to watch the football game. However, we are selling a VIP Pass which gives the holder access to drink options of beer and hard seltzer. Price ranges from $25-$30 depending on when purchased, so get yours today! Proceeds from VIP Pass sales support Operation Delta Dog.

Q.4 – What can or should I bring to the event?

  • Blankets
  • Collapsible chairs / tailgating chairs
  • Pets on leash
  • Cameras*

* Note that the photographers you will see on the field and among the players’ sideline have been cleared by the event organizers to have such access. Do not go into these areas to take photos or for any reason. Please be respectful of other guests and do not linger in a place where you are blocking others’ views. Thank you.

Q.5 – Wait, so can I actually play in the Football Game?

Maybe. The rosters are set in advance, and there are specific requirements for players. At this time we may still have some spots. So if you are genuinely interested in playing serious tackle football – and have a suit you are willing to destroy, or know of a few thrift stores to shop at – head over to this page and submit your information.

Q.6 – What’s available for guests at TPSF?

  • Beer/Hard Seltzer from Harpoon, Brato, and Mighty Squirrel
  • Food provided by Brato Brewhouse and Kitchen (w/non-alcoholic beverages)
  • Live Music performed by T.R.E. & Patch of Grass
  • Three Piece Suit Football merchandise (t-shirts, hats, hoodies, beanie knit caps, koozies, fridge magnets)
  • OpDD merchandise
  • MC entertainment during the game

Q.7 – Should I bring cash? Are there ATMs on site?

TPSF merchandise, VIP Passes, Raffle tickets, and food & drink can be purchased with cash or credit/debit card. Cash is always good to bring for easy donations to the charity. But no, there will not be ATMs on site.

Q.8 – How can I participate in supporting the charities?

͏‌ Scroll way up to the top of this page and you should see the blue header with the red-numbered list of 4 different ways to support Military Veterans and Rescue Animal charities during Three Piece Suit Football.

Q.9 – Are Children and Pets allowed at the event?

All ages are welcome. Children must be supervised by parent/adult at all times. Pets are allowed but must remain on a leash and with their owner (or designated handler) at all times at the event. And please be sure to clean up after your pet!

Q.10 – Do I have to wear a three-piece suit if I’m just coming to watch?

You’d be surprised how often we get this question, and the answer is ‘no’. We love seeing our fans dressed to the nines, but it’s not a requirement at all! Wear whatever suits you best (see what we did there?) and allows you to have a great time. Besides, we’ll have plenty of TPSF merchandise available for sale at the event, so you can rep TPSF that way. Be sure to stop by our merchandise tent at some point during the day and check out the t-shirts, hoodies, beanies, and hats!.

Q.11 – Is the event wheelchair accessible?

Yes, entry to the event is ADA accessible. Please be aware that the entire event site is on grass in a city park green space.

Q.12 – What am I NOT allowed to bring in?

  • Outside Food or Beverages
  • Drugs
  • Weapons
  • Fireworks
  • Glass

Q.13 – Can I leave and come back?

Feel free to come and go as you please! But you don’t want to miss all the action!
